After seeing some of my favorite acts at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, it was quite a thrill to actually play there. The Brothers Brooks opened for Gregg Allman’s band there once or twice, and also for some other acts.

Then on December 9, 1994, we headlined our own show.

Center Stage Theater Backstage Pass from Dec 9, 1994
One memory from this show – when we were done, some guy and a girl approached me from the floor while I was on stage, and the guy said that the girl wanted to meet me. I said ok, then the girl offered her hand and I took it. Then the guy started talking to me, and while I was looking at and listening to him, I felt something strange happening to my hand, and I jerked my hand violently from the girl’s mouth. What a weirdo.
